Linda Parks

As founder of The Parks Group Ltd., Linda has more than 20 years of experience in graphic design, and print and project management. She received her B.A. in Advertising from the New York Institute of Technology and began her career as a typeface designer at Mergenthaler Linotype. For several years she worked for J. Walter Thompson in New York. With the late 80’s recession she took to freelancing for smaller design firms in Westchester County, New York City and Connecticut. In the early 90’s the west beckoned, and she moved to Boulder, Colo. where she started the The Parks Group.

   I love everthing about the process! From conceptual, color, paper selection, photography, illustration, production, deadlines, web sites, client relationships, and print runs in the middle of the night. All of it...you love it, you hate it...but when a project wraps up and you smell the fresh ink on the paper, you click the mouse and the website is live, or your client calls to say they just received their job and it looks fantastic — it all makes it worth the trip!”
