Linda Parks

As founder of The Parks Group Ltd., Linda has more than 20 years of experience in design and project management. She received her B.A. in Advertising from the New York Institute of Technology and began her career as a typeface designer at Mergenthaler Linotype. She then moved into the advertising arena at J. Walter Thompson Advertising in New York City. In the late 80’s she freelanced at smaller design firms in Westchester, New York City and Connecticut. In the early 90’s she headed west to Boulder, Colo. and launched The Parks Group.

What is it about design that gets her up every morning? “Everything! color, paper, photography, illustration, crazy deadlines, two-dimensions, three-dimensions, the world wide web, great clients, great friends. All of it...you love it, you hate it...but when that job gets done the smell of fresh ink on paper or the excitement you get from the click of a mouse all makes it worth the trip!”

When she is not creating for her clients, you might find her in her jewelry studio silversmithing, or out riding her horse on one of Colorado's beautiful trails.
